Fly Fishing on the famed Beaverkill River is a perfect Mother’s Day & Father’s Day gift! Whether you are just hoping to explore how to fly fish or wishing to share your sport with someone special, we are offering an unforgettable opportunity.

Comfortable lodging, fine crafted meals made from fresh local ingredients, local wine and brews, and one mile of private upper Beaverkill River; the Beaverkill Valley Inn has been a fly fishing destination for over 125 years.

Our Fly Fishing package gives you the best the Inn has to offer, with everything a beginner or experienced fishing enthusiast will need.

Your package price includes:

  • A two- night stay with private room, breakfast, lunch and dinner included for each day. You’ll have access to the Inn’s endless amenities, including the indoor pool, fitness center, ice cream parlor, basketball court, trails, tennis court, and more.

  • Fishing package offering everything you need: waders, rods and reels, a two- hour fly casting lesson with a certified guide followed by guided fishing in the private mile of upper Beaverkill River.

  • A BVI logo fishing cap, fly box with seasonal hatch selections, and finally, finish your day with a tasty local beer or glass of wine while sharing the memories.

  • The next day, get out and fish the Inn’s stretch of private river, open to you both for another day for practicing your new skills!

The Inn is proud to serve the wares of local breweries and distilleries in our bar. In partnership with them, we’ve created our A Sip of the Catskills Tour. You’ll get vouchers and a tour map for you to head out and sample the following:

Catskill Brewery in Livingston Manor, 12 miles from the Inn. The Beverage Tour includes a tasting flight or pint of their great seasonal beers.

“The Catskill Brewery makes fresh ales and lagers using the best natural ingredients available. We make beer here, but we live here too – in this place we call The Catskills. So, we’ll keep an eye on the steps we take, and make sure we don’t leave a trace. In our building, our beliefs, and our process, we will look for every opportunity to make the best beer, share the best stories, and introduce new people to this place we love.”

Prohibition Distillery, in Roscoe, 14 Miles from the Inn. Your visit includes a tour of the Distillery and a tasting room experience.

“Our goal is to make spirits that reflect our passion and that consumers will love. We have been awarded gold medals for our vodka and gin. We also brought home six international medals, including the only gold medal at the NYISC, The Fifty Best American Vodka Competition, and we were recently named to a list of the top five global craft vodkas by Travel and Leisure Magazine. Bootlegger 21 Gin has been awarded the gold medal at the IWSC for Contemporary Gin. All of our products are made from 100% corn, making them gluten free. Our products are also certified OU Kosher. During the summer, we also provide cocktails and food in our Alley Bar.”


Roscoe Beer Company- in Roscoe, 14 Miles from the Inn.  Your visit includes a flight or pint in the tasting room.

“The former firehouse turned brewery has been totally transformed from the initial 400 square foot tasting room that was open to the public to a sprawling 1,600 square foot tasting room, brewery, gift shop and beer garden that will be open to the public year-round! Weekends or weekdays all year round, Catskill adventure awaits! The BVI is excited to be the place your family can go to for adventure and fun. All you have to do is arrive for the adventure to begin.


Check in, get your room organized, head out for a hike! The Inn has over 40 acres to explore, and many miles of groomed trails ready for the first time to experienced hiker, to fill all ages and abilities.

Grab a quick swim in the 60 ft indoor heated pool, handy locker rooms for changing and showers, pool towels provided, all you need to bring is your suit.

Get ready for dinner, have a beverage on the deck while the family plays croquet in the nearby lawn. Then enjoy incredible farm to table dining with fresh local fare, a tasty children’s menu is always available, dine in the dining room or outside on the deck.

After dinner try a game of basketball and then… ice cream! The Inn’s self -serve ice cream parlor is open night and day for your pleasure.


After breakfast featuring Fran’s blueberry pancakes or Mary Ellen’s French Toast, juice, fruit, cereal and BVI Java Love Coffee, get out and explore with a short hike on the Inn’s trails.

Fly fishing- for the experienced or new to the sport enthusiast. The Inn offers waders, rod & reels, flies for the current hatch, and one private mile of blue ribbon, world famous upper Beaverkill River, anglers from all over the world seek to fish here.

Tennis anyone? Play on one of two tennis courts with mountain views or another swim in the pool. Winter offers skiing on cross country trails, skating on the hockey rink, all size skates and skis are in stock.

Gather up everyone for lunch at the Inn or ask for a packed lunch to take on a drive or hike. The afternoon is free to you to enjoy any or all of the activities here year- round. Rainy afternoons offer board games in the cardroom, indoor basketball and swimming.

After another great dinner plan on s’mores at the fire pit in the meadow. Start a singalong, star gaze, and plan your next day.
