With a huge selection of everything from the best toys for kids to cool camping gear to outdoor apparel to unique local products, Morgan Outdoors is an amazing place to stop by whenever you’re in town. Not only do they always have something new and exciting, they’re constantly planning fun events to get you out and about in the natural beauty of the Catskills.

Something for Everyone

When guests come to the Inn and forgot their hiking boots or a rain jacket, our front desk tells them to head to our friends at Morgan Outdoors. They have a selection of everything you need for outdoor activities, and their friendly staff is always able to help you find the right boot, jacket, or gear for your activity level and expertise.

We’ll warn you now: they stock such a cool selection of kids’ games, toys, and outdoor gear that your kids aren’t gonna want to leave the shop.

A Dedication to Preservation

Morgan Outdoors’ Lisa Lyons is heavily involved in the community and is dedicated to strengthening Livingston Manor and helping to preserve the Catskills environment for generations. The store actively strives to conserve energy, recycle, and support and promote regional and national conservation initiatives.

Fun Events All Year Round

If you’re lucky, your visit to the Inn will coincide with one of the fun events that Morgan Outdoors plans. This August 2, they’re hosting a birthday celebration for the Balsam Lake Mountain Fire Tower’s Centennial celebration, with a birthday cake and open house at the store.

They regularly host events for people of all ages, from Senior Strolls to fun events for kids to volunteer cleanup events at the local lakes, ponds, and nature walks. Check out their events page for the latest updates.
