Our Guide to the Best Breweries in the Catskills
The Catskills region is full of great breweries, and some of the best ones are right near the Inn! Here’s our guide to the best breweries in the Catskills that are closest to the Beaverkill Valley Inn and the Livingston Manor, Roscoe, and Callicoon areas:
Catskill Brewery, Livingston Manor
Located right when you turn into Livingston Manor off Route 17, Catskill Brewery is a local favorite. They have a food truck on site and also host fun events like comedy shows, live music, markets, and Oktoberfest events at their space. Located about 15 minutes from the Beaverkill Valley Inn.
Upward Brewery, Livingston Manor
Upward Brewery is a great place to spend a sunny day in the Catskills (or even a not-so-sunny day, with their beautiful indoor space). With rolling fields, a pond, and even Beer Mountain to hike, there’s plenty of outdoor space to enjoy, plus a delicious menu to pair with your beer (we recommend the burgers!). Located about 15-20 minutes from the Beaverkill Valley Inn.
Roscoe Beer Company, Roscoe
Roscoe Beer Company’s beer garden, live music, and extended outdoor space make it a perfect spot to spend the afternoon. They have a great pub menu and a wide selection of beer to choose from, and it’s always a fun place to hang out. Located about 20 minutes from the Beaverkill Valley Inn.
Callicoon Brewing Company, Callicoon
The Callicoon Brewing Company is located in the Olympia Hotel in Callicoon. Enjoy views of the Delaware River and a full pub menu with your craft beer, and they also host weekly events like live music and trivia. Located about 45 minutes from the Beaverkill Valley Inn.
Russian Mule Brewery, Claryville
This unique brewery honors owner Irina Nicoletti’s Russian heritage with Russian styled beers like Pilsners, Lagers, and Imperial Stouts, Russian delicacies on the menu (with plenty of American style pub food, too), and even Russian artists featured in the tasting room. Located about 45 minutes from the Beaverkill Valley Inn.
You can enjoy many beers from these local favorites at the Inn’s own bar, too! Make sure to ask our front desk about a self-guided brewery tour if you’re looking for something to do during your stay. Book your stay at the Beaverkill Valley Inn here!
