Fun Things to Do in the Catskills This September | Updated 2021
September is a great month to enjoy the Catskills: it’s still warm but with a little bit of crispness in the air. Local towns and events spaces are always hosting great things to do in September - here are some of our favorite things to do this year!
September 9-12: In the Woods Theater Festival, Forestburgh Playhouse
In the Woods is a new, annual theatre festival dedicated to nurturing playwrights, composers, lyricists and emerging, innovative theatrical works and cabaret. The Festival will feature staged readings, talkbacks, celebrity Q&A's, special VIP events, parties and more.
It starts on the 9th with a kickoff party, then has over seventeen events throughout the entire weekend. Check out the full schedule and get tickets here.
September 18: Jeffersonville Jems “Jeff Jamboree”
It’s one of the most fun days of the year in Jeffersonville! It is the annual Jeffersonville Jamboree sponsored by Jeffersonville JEMS which will be returning to Main Street, Jeffersonville, on Saturday, September 18th. JEMS members will be rejoicing at the return of a day of fun, food, music and so much more! A pancake breakfast, the ever popular tractor parade, the duck race, live music, free horse drawn carriage rides will make for a very exciting day.

September 25: Catskill Fly Fishing Museum Emerging Anglers Dinner at the Beaverkill Valley Inn
The Catskill Fly Fishing Museum will be hosting its annual Emerging Anglers Dinner right here at the Beaverkill Valley Inn. Enjoy fine local fare from Chef Tommy Finch while Ed and Judy Van Put present and speak on their program Artists Who Fished the Catskills and the art found in fly-fishing.

Every Sunday throughout the Month: Annual Harvest Festival, Bethel Woods
Check out this popular weekly festival at Bethel Woods, featuring over 80 local farmers, vendors, and makers. Enjoy the food truck court, corn maze, and live music every Sunday through October.
