ROOMS

  • Are there any wheelchair accessible rooms?

    The Inn has a wheelchair accessible room on the Inn's first floor. Please inquire about it when booking your stay. The Inn is largely wheelchair accessible, starting with the large wraparound Victorian porch, which has an attractive ramp up to the front door. The entire first floor of the Inn, where most of the public areas are, is entirely wheelchair accessible: that includes the dining room, game room, living room, powder room, front desk, bar, card room, and deck. There is a clear path to the Clubhouse, the first floor of which is wheelchair accessible: that includes the pool, ice cream parlor, various meeting rooms, basketball court, locker rooms, and barn.

  • Are there phones and TVs in the rooms?

    Our policy has always been to encourage guests to unwind, unplug and enjoy their country escape. We have broadband wifi throughout both buildings and on the grounds. There are two TV lounges and a TV at the Bar for you to catch up, if you really need to.

  • Are there suites for families?

    The Inn has rooms with queen size beds and 2 twin bed rooms, located right next to each other and across the hallway. There are no connecting rooms. Also, rollaway beds for children will fit into several rooms. Please let us know when making your reservation how to best plan for your family.

  • Are the rooms air-conditioned?

    Yes, all of the rooms have air conditioning, or just open your window to hear the birds and bubbling stream.

  • Are there fireplaces in any guest rooms?

    No, however there is a fireplace in both the Living room and the Card room. Ask a staff member to light a fire anytime during your stay.

  • Do I need to bring a hair dryer?

    The Inn has hair dryers at the front desk, leave yours home .

FOOD

  • Can the Inn accommodate vegan, vegetarian and gluten free dietary needs?

    Yes, the Chefs can tailor all menus for special dietary requests. To best serve you, please let us know when making your reservation.

  • Are there child-friendly menu choices?

    Yes! The Chef can create family friendly choices, including mac and cheese, pasta, and chicken fingers, all made special in our kitchens.

  • Can we order a birthday cake?

    Yes, just let us know when planning a special celebration, the baker will create something tasty for you.

  • Can we bring our own wine?

    Yes, a small amount of wine is acceptable, the Inn charges a $25 corkage fee. No unsecured alcohol is allowed.

AMENITIES

  • Can we bring our pets?

    The Inn has a no pet policy, to avoid allergies and discomfort to other guests. Give your pet a holiday, there are several local boarding kennels nearby.

  • When is the ice cream parlor open?

    24 hours a day! Chill out and dive in!

  • Is there valet parking?

    No, just unload at the front entrance then park in the lower lot.

  • Do I need to bring pool towels?

    No, the Inn has plenty of pool towels in the locker rooms at the Clubhouse. Do not forget your suit! There are very few local shops to purchase a bathing suit nearby.

  • What are the pool hours?

    The pool is open daily from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

FISHING

  • Are the Inn's waters fly fishing only?

    The Inn has one mile of private Beaverkill River for fly fishing only. It is Catch and Release, and we prefer the use of barbless hooks. You must be a registered Inn guest to fish this water, a fishing pass will be issued to you at check in with a stream map.

  • Can I borrow fishing equipment?

    The Inn has rods with reels and line for a $25 per day rental fee. Waders and wading shoes in all sizes are stocked and are complimentary during your stay.

  • Does the Inn have a someone who can teach casting?

    The Inn's fishing expert is "The Catskill Angler," local fishing guru Nick Rubicco. Nick can teach casting lessons and arrange all sorts of private fishing tours for guests of all ages and activity levels.

  • Can I buy flies at the Inn?

    Yes, we carry locally tied, hand crafted flies of the season, available with other fishing equipment for your convenience.

  • Is there lake fishing nearby?

    Yes there is a close-by lake for bail fishing.

  • How far is the Wulff School from the Inn?

    The Wulff School is only 1 mile upstream from the Inn.

ACTIVITIES

  • What can I do in the area?

    Roscoe and Livingston Manor both have breweries, fly shops, eateries for casual dining, clothing and antique shops, approx 12-16 miles from the Inn.

  • Does the Inn have a fire pit?

    Yes, the Inn has a large fire pit located in the meadow. We can set you up any night, and we do have S’mores fixings ready to go.

  • Does the Inn have a tennis court?

    Yes, the Inn has two tennis courts with magnificent mountain views. Bring your own racket, and give it a go!

  • Are there hiking trails at the Inn?

    Yes, the Inn has over 40 acres to explore with many groomed trails. They are suitable for beginners of all ages through experienced hikers. A short drive will bring you to Alder lake or the Balsam Mountain firetower. Check out https://www.catskillhiker.net/ for very good information.

  • Can we go boating?

    Yes, you can rent a canoe or boat at the NYS Little Pond Campground, just 2 miles from the Inn. The Beaverkill River is not open for canoe or kayaking.

  • Can I attend church or religious services in the area?

    Yes, Livingston Manor and Roscoe have many houses of worship; ask for worship times and directions at the Front Desk.

EVENTS

  • Can the Inn host conferences?

    Yes, for groups up to 26. We have meals and lodging, meeting rooms with WiFi and other conveniences can all be arranged. For larger groups, outside lodging can be organized.

  • How many guests can you accommodate for a wedding?

    For tented weddings in the meadow, the Inn can accommodate up to 150 guests. For wedding receptions held in the Inn's dining room, 50-75 guests is an ideal number.

  • Can my wedding guests stay at the Inn?

    For weddings, the Inn requires that all nineteen guest rooms be reserved by your party. Our events team can recommend additional offsite accommodations for the rest of your guests.
