Fun Things to Do in the Catskills This September | Updated 2020

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, our region is still thriving: home sales are up, businesses are hanging in there, and Inns like ours are open to the public at a reduced capacity, with health and safety procedures in place.

While there aren’t as many events in the Catskills this September, there are still fun outdoor, socially-distanced things to do on your Catskills weekend getaway.

Bethel Woods Harvest Festival 2020

Bethel Woods is still hosting its annual Harvest Festival, with COVID-19 safety procedures in place. The event is held every Sunday through October 11. They’ll have the corn maze on a limited, private-party basis, vendors will be spread out, and the Museum Education team will provide take-home art kits for the kids.

Check out Bethel Woods’ website for details about planning your Harvest Festival visit.

Peace, Love, Plein Air at Yasgur’s Farm

Paint and creatively connect with nature at Yasgur’s Farm, the site of Woodstock. It’s a bring-your-own supplies event, and you can paint just for fun or entered a juried competition. Check it out and get your ticket here.
