Beaverkill Valley Inn Health & Safety Procedures - September 2020
We are so excited to reopen our doors and welcome you back! We have spent the last few months collecting ourselves, regrouping and focusing on how we can provide the best and safest experiences for our community. The health and safety of our visitors and staff has always been a top priority but due to Covid-19 we have heightened our diligence and commitment. We have taken some key steps to ensure that we are adhering to CDC and HHS requirements and NYS guidelines - here are just a few of them:
the inn & reservations:
At this time the Beaverkill Valley Inn is currently only booking a limited number of rooms so that we remain below our capacity limit and allow all of our guests plenty of elbow room.
All reservations will have contactless self check-in. Upon arrival our Welcome Table in the foyer will have a check-in envelope with your room key, reservation slip, hold harmless agreement and safety guidelines to follow while at the Inn. Please be sure to sign your reservation sheet found beneath your check-in envelope and deposit it into the drop box on the Welcome Table.
All rooms will be sanitized and sealed prior to your arrival. Sanitized areas are included but not limited to: door knob, light switch, water faucet, AC remote just to name a few.
Your room will be stocked with an abundance of bathroom amenities. Should you need any additional items for your room just give the front desk a ring and any toiletries, bath towels, pool towels, etc...will be placed on the Welcome Table in the foyer.
During your stay, should you need any assistance you may call our wonderful front desk staff for assistance.
Upon departure you may leave your key on the Welcome Table for contactless check-out. Please be sure to close the door to your room as you depart. The credit card on file will be charged for any additional food and beverage charges, incidentals, yoga classes, etc…
In the event that you feel unwell prior to your visit we will absolutely issue you a refund and waive cancellation fees.
public spaces:
In an effort to keep our visitors and our staff safe we do ask that you limit your points of contact while indoors at both the Inn and the Clubhouse.
At this time we are currently hosting visitors in our Yellow Front Dining Room, Front Porch, Tavern, Back Deck, Lawn, Pool and Basketball Court.
You may enter the Front Desk area only while en route to the Tavern. Should you need any assistance from the Front Desk, please call 845-439-4344
Masks must be worn whenever indoors unless you are seated at a table. A safe social distance of 6 ft. should be maintained at all times, indoors and outdoors. Complimentary masks are available at the Front Door and in the Tavern.
All high-touch points (door knobs, light switches, handrails, etc…) are being sanitized throughout the day in an effort to keep common areas safe.
amenities:
All amenities open are operating within CDC requirements and NYS guidelines.
Trails: our trails are all open and are a great way to explore the area while being able to social distance. Hike or walk our trails for a great way to disconnect and maybe even come across some of our neighborhood residents - bald eagles, deer, wild turkeys, and more!
Pool: Pool hours are 8am - 8pm 7 days a week! A complimentary pool towel will be placed in your room.
Basketball Court: The Basketball Court is open from 8am - 8pm. At this time we do not have any sports equipment available for use - but there are plenty of other ways to use the Basketball Court!
River: The Beaverkill River is one of the most sought after fly fishing areas in the country! We are proud to own a 1 mile stretch of this majestic beauty and invite you to explore it! We provide wading shoes and waders at 2 locations on our Front Porch and can connect you with our resident fly fishing guide should you want a more interactive experience. A fly rod can be rented for $25. You can’t take it with you...our river is strictly catch and release. When using any of our fishing gear please be sure to return it to either hanging location on the Front Porch.
