In a nutshell? You want to be careful when hiking near waterfalls. You don’t want to slip on a wet rock or trail crossing. You’ll also want to take the same safety precautions and “leave no trace” ethos you’d take on any hike.

Bring a walking stick or trekking pole when hiking near waterfalls - the terrain can be slippery! Also, wear appropriate shoes.
