Things to Do in the Catskills - Nest Catskills, Livingston Manor

If you’re a design aficionado, your trip to the Catskills is incomplete without a visit to the iconic Nest boutique on Livingston Manor’s Main Street. Founded by former Vogue design director Anna Bern, the perfectly curated Nest is a design lover’s Mecca.

Nest’s Livingston Manor boutique (there’s also one in nearby Narrowsburg) is full of unique artwork, chic modern furniture, and a selection of jewelry and apparel sourced by Anna on her world travels. They also have an e-commerce shop, but we recommend seeing it in person on your next visit - Anna’s eye for detail is unmatched, and the store is so cozy you may want to just move right in.

We’re big fans of the vintage Catskills ephemera that Anna includes in her inventory. If you want a fun memento of your trip to the Inn, her vintage snowshoes are always chic leaned up against a bookcase or mounted on the wall. If you’re looking for something smaller that’ll fit in a small NYC apartment, we’re always eyeing the many candles and unique jewelry on display, too!
