Things to Do in the Catskills - Check out the Sullivan County Dove Trail

The Sullivan County Dove Trail is one of the coolest public arts projects we’ve seen. It’s also a perfect socially-distanced activity and way to explore the Catskills. The Dove Trail commemorates the 50th anniversary of the 1969 Woodstock festival and celebrates its impact on the region. It’s a collection of 50 dove sculptures perched in villages, towns, and at several tourism businesses. Each permanently mounted dove is hand-painted by a professional local artist and inspired by the legendary event held here in 1969.

Sullivan County Dove Trail Passport Program

Sullivan Catskills runs a really fun “passport” program with the Dove Trail. Send in a photo of you next to each of the fifty doves, and get a groovy Dove souvenir! Check out the Passport Program and how to apply here.
